Society lady, Mrs Adunni Bankole dies on daughter's wedding day

Popular society lady and step mother of former speaker of Nigeria's House of Representative, Dimeji Bankole, Chief Mrs Adunni Bankole has passed away. Mrs Adunni, who was the Iyalode of Gbagura in Ogun State and ex-wife of  Chief Alani Bankole, died today January 3rd after a battle with an unknown illness. Unfortunately, she died on the day one of her daughters was to get married. A wedding she'd been looking forward to and helped to plan. May her soul rest in peace. Amen.
